Superscript & Subscript Text Generator Privacy: All processing runs locally
Convert your text to superscript or subscript Unicode characters.
How It Works
The Superscript and Subscript Text Generator converts your text into raised (superscript) or lowered (subscript) Unicode characters. These are real Unicode code points, not HTML formatting tags, so they can be copied and pasted anywhere.
For superscript, each available character is mapped to its Unicode superscript equivalent. Letters like a, b, c, d, e, etc. have dedicated superscript code points in Unicode. Similarly, all digits 0-9 have superscript versions. Characters without a Unicode superscript equivalent are left unchanged.
For subscript, the tool maps available characters to their Unicode subscript equivalents. Subscript coverage is more limited than superscript in Unicode, so some letters may not have a subscript form and will be left as-is.
Superscript and subscript text is useful for mathematical notation, footnotes, chemical formulas, and adding a unique style to social media posts. The generated text works on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Discord, and all other platforms supporting Unicode.
