Your Privacy Matters

Konvi.ch is designed with privacy as its core principle. All tools run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. No data you enter is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:

  • No user accounts or registration required
  • No cookies are set (we use localStorage only for your theme and language preferences)
  • No analytics or tracking scripts
  • No server-side processing of your input data
  • No data is sent to any server, API, or third party

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember two preferences:

  • Theme preference (konvi-theme): Whether you prefer light or dark mode
  • Language preference (konvi-lang): Your chosen language (EN, DE, or FR)

You can clear these at any time through your browser settings. No other data is stored locally.

Third-Party Resources

All fonts used on this website (DM Sans and IBM Plex Mono) are self-hosted on our own server. No requests are made to Google Fonts or any other external font service. No external scripts, resources, or APIs are loaded — your browser only communicates with konvi.ch.

Client-Side Processing

Every tool on Konvi.ch processes your data exclusively within your browser:

  • Text conversions, encoding, and hashing are computed locally
  • Image processing uses the browser's Canvas API
  • Generated passwords and UUIDs use the browser's crypto.getRandomValues()
  • No data ever leaves your device

GDPR Compliance

Since we do not collect, store, or process any personal data, GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are not applicable. There is simply no personal data to manage.

Children's Privacy

Our tools are freely available to all users. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted on this page. Since we are committed to client-side-only processing, significant changes are unlikely.
