How It Works

The Bold Text Generator converts your normal text into Mathematical Sans-Serif Bold Unicode characters. These are not formatting tags or HTML — they are actual Unicode characters that look bold everywhere, including social media bios, posts, comments, and messaging apps.

The conversion works by mapping each ASCII letter and digit to its bold equivalent in the Unicode Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block. Uppercase letters A-Z are mapped starting from U+1D5D4, lowercase letters a-z from U+1D5EE, and digits 0-9 from U+1D7EC. Characters that do not have a bold equivalent (punctuation, spaces, special characters) are left unchanged.

This tool is perfect for making your social media posts stand out on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Discord. Since the bold characters are real Unicode code points, they will display correctly on any device or platform that supports Unicode — no special fonts or apps required.

All processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your text is never sent to any server, ensuring complete privacy and security.
